Eyebright Shawl Knitting Pattern
A gorgeous lace shawl with a stunning edging. Eyebright is worked from the top down, with short rows giving it a subtle crescent shape. The main body of the shawl is worked in stockinette, and the edging is made up of a band of floral lace which blends into a delicate, open diamond pattern. The bound off edge is blocked into points. Named for the delicate flowers that grow in abundance in the Scottish Mountains, eyebright used to be used medicinally to keep your eyes sparkling - we hope this shawl has the same effect!
